Well, Geocities deleted my site for the second time so I've moved!! Now I'm trying to decide if I want to move my family website as well. So far freehomepage is working for me...it's only been one day though. I thought the advertisement banners would be the pop-up kind like on Geocities, but doesn't look that way. Oh well...I have more space here too :) I might just go ahead and make all of my wallpaper tiles pre-viewable since I have so much space. Now I need to figure out how to change my Site Meter over to this URL without losing all of the saved info. Not too sure if I can do it that way.

Hmm...well, I think I may have been able to do a little bit
better myself...I don't feel that Alanis really fully captured the pain and
anguish that I feel as I am forced to mop up the honey and spaghetti sauce
spills on my kitchen floor. Maybe I should cut an album about my little
problem.

the troubled teen just recently, and I must say, Tina doesn't seem all that
much happier since coming into Carrie's care. I think Tina needs
therapy...

Wow...been a while since I posted in here! I just finished the new site design for my family's web site last week. It kind of matches this theme :) The weather here has gotten cold again! I love this autumn weather!! Feels so cozy... I wish it was like this all year. Yes, I could get by without the sun.
Man, I have come across some cool sites recently! I LOVE the design of Who Fonted? Lauren has an awesome collection of fonts and dingbats ;) Pizza Dude is another great one...he's the Weekly Jewel! Be sure to head over to Hip Essentials for some great graphics & resources!! Moni, Michelle & Giada have done a wonderful job with this funky new site!
Have you been to freakylinks.com yet? I missed the premiere of it on Fox yesterday :( Derek says it wasn't about him, but I just don't believe that. He probably thinks I'm a freak after the e-mail I sent to him to tell him about all the similarities between his life and the Derek that they have on the Fox show. As I told Derek, I'm just amazed that Fox would create show based on his site's name & his actual name and not consult with him first! Too weird... Anyway, you should check out his site and the awesome design! He's a hilarious guy...
Let's see...what else is new around here? Oh! My step sister, Jennifer, is coming for a visit in a week or so! Yes, she and I have the same name, except for the middle names are different. Mine is Gail and hers is Lynn. We used to go by Jenn1 and Jenn2 when she would come to stay with us. She's about three(?) years younger than me (bad memory...can't even remember her age!!) so we've always been able to talk about stuff that we have in common and just have a great time together. Man, I haven't seen her since Joshua was about 4 months old!! He'll be 5 in December! Long time...

Yeah!! We made it to Nashville, TN!! We are in an awesome apartment too. The kids have really been enjoying the pool ;o) Now I'm living about 10 minutes from Sara!
Man, the basic cable here is $30.95! It was only $9 in Iowa... But, we do get TONS more channels than we did in Iowa and I will get to watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer now! Yes, I am a fan... I love all of those teenager shows and movies. Tim says that I think I am still a teenager myself. I just really enjoy kicking back on the couch, watching Buffy or Dawson and doing my cross stitch! I was so upset when the WB moved to a different channel and Marshalltown was unable to receive it. They would have had to build a new tower just to get it! So anyway, I'm happy now :o)
The people here are all really nice and I LOVE the TN accent! It reminds me a lot of the Texas accent. I find myself slipping back into my old TX accent when I am around someone with a really strong TN one.
The weather seems pretty nice here too. It does get hot but it really doesn't seem as humid to me as Iowa. The pool does help on the hot days ;o)
Okay, enough about Tennessee...
I posted a new linkware set today. I haven't had much creative energy recently :o( I woke up kind of sick feeling this morning and there is still sooooo much unpacking and organizing left to do! My goal for today is to get the kid's room cleaned and organized. Those kids have way too many toys!! I got rid of some when we moved but they still have a good 3 tupperware boxes or more left!

Good morning :o) Well, Tim's sister Sara arrived safely this last Saturday and will be here until next Saturday. We're having a blast! She's such a sweet gal and we seem to have a lot in common since she's only 2 months younger than me. Tim is taking a week of vacation so we have all been able to do stuff together. The kids LOVE having her here. They begged her to play cars and "party" (Abby's toy dollhouse things and her toy food) as soon as she came in the door! They went with Tim to the airport to pick her up so I'm supposing they were talking to her about their toys already!
Good news on the potty front! lol For those of you who know me, you know I'm trying to potty train the kiddos. Abby has been pretty much trained for a while and Josh has been unsuccessful at doing #2 in the potty. Well, about a week and a half ago, he started doing everything in the potty!!! We bribed him with computer games. You see, he peed on our nice office chair one day while he was playing a computer game. It took me quite a while to spray it down, soap it up and rinse it out all the way. So, since he was playing the game when it happened, we told him that he couldn't play again until he went poopy in the potty five days in a row. He did and the rest is history... Ah, what a story! lol
Anyway, I haven't had much time to work on my graphical addiction this week. I'm currently working on joining The Graphics Ring! I've been accepted but need to get the code working on my linware page. I am having a time trying to get that thing to work!! I feel like an idiot! lol Grrr....
We bought The Little Mermaid yesterday for six bucks!! Woohoo!! I love that movie :o)

BTW...Tim turns 27 tomorrow!!!

As you can see, things have changed a bit around here! The layout is a bit different, I've replaced the "About Me" page with this journal and I've added the "Weekly Jewel" area which is a graphic designer appreciation page that will be updated each week with a new artist.
Believe it or not, that's it for this first entry. Joshua is having a fit because he wants to play his dinosaur hunting game so I better scoot~
